Quad Automatic Bidirectional Level Translator for Open-Drain and Push-Pull Applications
Overview

The MS4561-4 is a bidirectional level translator featuring four independent power supply configurations. Port A supports a supply voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V, while Port B operates from 2.3V to 5.5V. It is suitable for signal level translation in 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V systems.

When the OE pin is driven low, all I/O ports enter a high-impedance state, reducing static power consumption. The OE pin incorporates an internal pull-down current source when VCCA is powered. To ensure the ports remain in a high-impedance state during power-up or power-down sequences, the OE pin should be connected to ground via a pull-down resistor, with the resistance value determined by the drive capability of the internal current source.

Key Features
  • ⚫ No directional control signal required
  • ⚫ Maximum data rate: 35 Mbps (push-pull mode), 2 Mbps (open-drain mode)
