Four-channel LVDS differential cable driver
Overview

MS21147T is a 4-channel LVDS differential cable driver that meets the amplitude characteristics of multi-point low voltage differential signal (MLVDS). Each current-mode driver provides a minimum differential output voltage of 590mV for an external 100Ω differential load.

The MS21147T is used for point-to-point and multipoint baseband data transmission through a controlled impedance medium of approximately 100Ω. The transmission medium can be printed circuit board routing, backplane or cable. The final rate and distance of data transmission depends on the attenuation characteristics of the medium, the noise coupled to the environment, and other system characteristics.
