Four-Channel LVDS Differential Line Driver
Overview

MS21157 is a four-channel LVDS differential line driver that meets the amplitude characteristics of Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS). Each current-mode driver delivers a 390mV differential output voltage to an external 100Ω differential load.

MS21157 can be used in point-to-point baseband data transmission over media with controlled impedance of 100Ω. The transmission media can be printed circuit boards, backplanes, or cables. The data transmission rate and distance depend on the attenuation characteristics of the media, the operating noise environment, and other system characteristics.
